The cherry tree in the countryhouse (Papa de mon ami's countryhouse in Bugey)
was full of cherries when we visited.
More than we can eat.
We stuffed ourselves with cherries while picking them to bring with us.
Mon ami made an alsacienne rhubarb pie with the rhubarb from the garden.
With the extra pate brisee, we made 2 small cherry tarts.
Disclaimer: I almost ALWAYS!! forgets to take a photo of the food
(The adrenaline of eating/food overcomes me)
before i start to eat, which explains the half eaten rhubarb pie.
The smiley pie composition wasn't intentional.
