Fish Cake Noodles in Johor Bahru

My sister, mama and I drove to Johor Bahru in Malaysia for a short day trip.
Ah Koong's fish cake noodles in famous in Johor Bahru.
It's GOOD!
Chinese mian/noodles sauce in Malaysia are done slightly different than in Singapore.
Malaysia mian is seasoned in sweet dark soy sauce.
I love both Singapore and Malaysia styles mian.

Koung's Wantan Mee

"MAMA! Let me take a photo first!"

Local style noodles are the first thing I want to eat as soon as I'm back in
Singapore.

Koung's Wantan Noodle Shop's proprietors are old friends of Mama.
Their wantan (or in U.S, wonton) noodles are super popular in their Geylang neighbourhood.

The noodles comes with Choy Sum (Chinese Flowering Cabbage), Cha Shao (Roast Pork) and a bowl of Wantan Soup at the side. You can also order a small dish of Gai Lan (Chinese Broccoli Greens).

Paimpont

The Guillotine Oak- More than a thousand years old

Grave of Merlin
(Hey, that's what it's called)
In Paimpont to visit Arthurian Brocéliande.
Bought 2 packs of Shin Ramyun from La Rochelle to cook in camp.
Gotta have my spicy fix every now and then.
It's NOT a sin to eat Shin Ramyun in France.
